MAGA fans are rejoicing on social media in favor of President Donald Trump's plan to sign an executive order requiring commercial truck drivers to speak English.

Breitbart News reported that Trump would sign the order Monday evening because "President Trump believes that English is a non-negotiable safety requirement for professional drivers." Last month, Trump designated English as "the official language of the United States."

"This is such a big deal! So grateful for this, the roads will be much safer. Like many, I have seen many accidents or near accidents from unqualified drivers," posted @coffeegirlvegas.

“What was he convicted of?” someone asked.

“He had tattoos on his body,” she replied triumphantly.

“Hey, smartass!” shouted a woman in her sixties, jumping to her feet. “You want to see my tattoo?”

“Lady,” the Trump supporter said. “You don’t know what a tattoo is.”

“Yes I do, I’ve got one!” the woman shouted, tapping her chest.

The Trump supporter dismissed her with a wave of one hand. “I’ve had enough of you Democrats,” she said.

Driving the news: The posters — which read "ARRESTED" — specify various crimes linked to the pictured immigrants and have the White House's official logo at the bottom.

-The "roughly 100" posters were being placed strategically along "Pebble Beach," where TV news crews do live shots in front of the mansion. A White House official told Axios the intent is for the posters to be visible behind TV journalists reporting from those positions.

-Posters positioned near the West Wing claim to show unauthorized immigrants arrested for "first-degree murder," "sexual abuse of a child," "kidnapping and rape," "murder," "rape of a child," and "distribution of fentanyl."

-Others claim to show people charged with "sexual assault of minors," "sexual contact with a child," and "lewd acts in front of a child."

-The posters describe the arrestees as "illegal aliens." Their names and precise legal statuses aren't included.

From what I'm reading, the troubles should start to pick up now; harbors being quieter, truckers not having work, ... Are any shortages noticeable yet?

Businesses have been filling their inventories. That's ending now. Economic pain in terms of job losses should accelerate now. It will still take up to a few weeks before inventories run empty, and the full impact hits consumers. Even a full reversal of Trumpism couldn't prevent knock-on effects that last into next year.
