Gen ai as it stands today will be remembered as the most alienating version of capitalist technology known to humanity. It has four stages of alienation which were separate but now manifest in one technology, social media algorithms reduce our personhoods and hobbies to data for a deadend algorithm meant extract more of our attention, platforms and workplaces alienate us from our fellow labourers of different sectors and even within same one, capitalist machines make us alienated from ourselves in manufacturing monotony and increasingly mind numbing entertainment, the capitalist mode of living alienates us from nature we live in, these used to be more or less separate but gen ai has merged then into one undead machine. A machine that alienated us from our personhood and labour by abstracting it in form of data and then putting it in an algorithm, alienated us from other labourers by making us think of their labour as lesser, alienated us from ourselves by making us empty shells for consumption of slop, alienated us from gifts of nature in form of rare metals and started piling on e-waste.

As you can see in the image, the notification bar is quite tall. But I can't seem to make it any smaller.

The infobar.css file in the Firefox source code contains the following code:

I'd also like to remove the icon (the "i" inside a circle, before the text "Firefox prevented...").

Ibis is a federated encyclopedia with numerous features. If you want to start a wiki for a TV series, a videogame, or an open source project then Ibis is for you! You can register on an existing instance or install it on your own server. Then you can start editing on the topic of your choice, and connect to other Ibis instances for different topics. Federation ensures that articles get mirrored across many servers, and can be read even if the original instance goes down. Ibis is written in Rust and Webassembly, fully open source to make enshittification impossible.

This version includes some minor bug fixes and improvements, plus updated translations.

detail - The first 3 books are amazing - page turners, it kinda chugs in parts after that, and books 7-8 have lots of character development that feels unearned.

If you remember TV sitcoms with a A plot and B plot where 90% of a episode is the B plot, and the A plot barely moves... that is the same structure here. The B plot is the dungeon floors and Carl/Princesses adventure.
