Salutare!

Fac acest thread din nevoia de a vă cunoaște pe toți puțin mai bine, știind ca exista riscul sa nu răspundă nimeni. Sunt curios: ce anume v-a adus pe aceste meleaguri mai puțin colonizate? 👻

Eu unul sunt aici dintr-un efort de aproape un an de zile să scap de tot ce e American sau big tech, si am ajuns la un moment dat sa vreau sa scap si de reddit. Momentan le folosesc pe amandoua dar am redus deja mult din timpul petrecut acolo ✌️

Como hemos estado viendo estos meses, varios países de "primer mundo" están pasando varias iniciativas:

1. ID digital obligatorio para ciertos sitios (Reino Unido).
2. Prohibición de VPNs (a consecuencia de lo primero 1)
3. "Chat Control", la criminalización del cifrado/encriptado (Unión Europea).
4. ALPRs (Flock y ahora Ring) - Cámaras de tránsito con IA que espían a todos los vehículos y personas en protestas (EEUU).

Estas iniciativas son tentáculos crecientes de la vigilancia global. En México, estamos viendo otro más de estos brazos, por medio de la CURP biométrica y la telefonía.

¡Tenemos que prepararnos para anticipar la posible llegada de estas otras políticas! Al momento de que las propongan, si respondemos organizadamente con rotundo rechazo, es difícil que las pasen, pero tenemos que llamar la atención de las masas.

The Rust-written Redox OS open-source operating system is now able to leverage Cargo and the Rust compiler "rustc" itself running within this platform. Plus they also made a heck of a lot of other improvements too over the course of the past month. Today they published a status update to outline all of the promising advancements made to this independent OS so far in 2026.

As a big milestone reached in January, Cargo and the rustc compiler are now working on Redox itself. You are now able to compile your favorite Rust command-line and text user interface (TUI) programs on Redox. Redox developers achieved success on their third attempt to get the Rust compiler and Cargo running under Redox.
