I have some terrible news ... BreadTop at Melbourne Central is CLOSED. I don't know if it's permanent. This means my mornings are much less joyful... And my life has extended by a few years.
I don't know whether it is still there, but I really miss that pide store at the bottom of Melbourne Central. Their goodies were so great.
There are a few types of street/fast food that were common in Melbourne that I can't readily get in Perth.
get krispy kreme instead
duuuuude I watched a mouse run from the downstairs maccas to the krispy kreme the other day. I wouldnt eat down there.

The last job I had in the city (3+ years ago) it became clear to me that the entire CBD is infested with rodents. You can really smell it strongly in some locations too.
oh totally. And on the basement floor right above a train station is practically inevitable. Still dont wanna see them though.

But do they have face-sized ham and cheese sandwhich things for $7.72?
