PSA: Sort by New in smaller communities to avoid only seeing the same old posts. (lemmy.world)

I've noticed that most communities mainly show day-old posts with default sorting. Sorting by New or Hot helps with seeing newer posts. Kinda obvious, but I sure didn't realize until trying it out ๐Ÿ˜…

Yeah, what was with that? No other communities in different languages sneaking through, but I've blocked several German ones now.
