Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

Didn’t he write child porn into it?
Cocaine is a helluva drug
Yes
Ehh, kinda. Are we talking about Carrie? You gotta remember how much cocaine he was doing. We have lost the technology to humanly consume as much coke as Stephen King in the early 80's through whenever he wrote the 4th Dark tower book.
No, we're talking about IT and the child sex scene.
Oh right, I do a good job of forgetting about that most days.
Usually they're talking about the preteen chain in It, but he's done a lot of them so who's to say?
I don't think it was that way though. Ever read twilight? That book was sexy and involved some underaged characters. 50 shades of grey was worse.
The weird part in IT is written in a way where you almost don't fully understand what they're doing kind of. It's not very sexy. A theme in the book too is being a child and experiencing predators
I just looked up the end of the book, it's pretty damn implicit in talking about their body parts and all the boys taking turns having sex with her.

Ctrl-f and read from 'Love and Desire / August 10th, 1958' down.
I've read the book. I didn't find it that out of whack or inappropriate.
The scene of her dad chasing her down the street asking to check her cunny felt more insane tbh.
