I'm just going off memory here on Herbert's works, but I re-read a couple of Dune books a few years ago

I wrote them before the movies appeared, and I haven't seen any of them. How is the jihad handled there?

Oh yeah, Chapterhouse Dune has way too much Tleilaxu, and also Space Jews.
