Really interesting preliminary research. It will be fascinating to see how this develops in the coming months and years. I have a feeling that microplastics will be the lead of this era.

I personally believe it is much worse. Think about everything that contains plastic nowadays, and ask yourself if an equivalent item contained lead ~50 years ago.
