I think the truth is that any serious investigation into everything on 9/11 would entail everything being done by the companies and people in those buildings in the years leading up to the attack.

And that this investigation would reveal the degree to which high finance was essentially doing white collar crime to fleece the masses.

Now they couldn’t come out and say “9/11 was Cassie’s belly (I’m letting the autocorrect take the wheel) and a tragedy” if Mohammad Atta also happened to take out a couple hundred of the exact guys who made bank on every financial crisis. That… muddies the waters in a way that porky doesn’t like.
