MODERATORS

Just looked at the ballot and wow there are a ton of positions up on this years primary. Spent a hot minute figuring out who I was going to vote for and figured I'd probably share some of the resources I found.

  1. You can find and view your sample ballot here.
  2. Texas Tribune has a Voter Guide here with a breakdown of each of the major candidates.
  3. You can find and read the recommendations of the Dallas Morning News here. I found this to be helpful when trying to read up on the local positions like District Judges.
  4. You can run through a sample ballot for the Democrat Primaries here and print off a cheat sheet for yourself which you can bring with you to the polls as reference. You are allowed to bring printed notes, but not allowed to use your phone at the polls. The site also does show you candidate endorsements from groups and links to them.
  5. Don't know if a resource like above exists for the Republican primary candidates, but I also didn't look for one. If someone finds one they feel like sharing I can edit this to link it.

Edit: I completely forgot about Vote 411 which also lets you run through a ballot for all candidates and gives you Q&As for most of the candidates as well. Thanks @Today@lemmy.world
