How do you search for communities and posts in Jerboa?
(lemmy.world)
Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.
Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.
Jerboa is made by Lemmy's developers, and is free, open-source software, meaning no advertising, monetizing, or venture capital, ever. Your donations directly support full-time development of the project.

It's currently not possible in jerboa to search for posts, or any other content except for communities. There is a issue created on github - so I guess it will be possible in the future. For now you have to use the search function on the website of your instance. At least on feddit.de it's working as I would expect it.
Currently.
Possible in the future.
For now.
I love how FOSS often has this glimmer of hope. With Lemmy becoming more popular more and more developers might come on board and the glimmer will start becoming a light. ๐
