Getting a PokeStop added is somewhat easy. I added a few in my region without major issues and got them reviewed within about a week.

But I have one stop here which is dangerous to use (directly on a high traffic road without any dedicated footway) and a second one references a item which was moved 100 meters after a car crashed into this wayside shrine.

I tried to report the dangerous spot and added a picture which shows the situation. My request got declined. Same issue with the other stop. Wait forever just to get the change declined.

I then tried to move the stop, which is now on the wrong position, using the in-game feature. This allows only a move of a few meters but my plan was to move it in steps until it is at its correct position. But even this "minor correction" goes to a review and got declined again.

This whole process is frustrating. Has someone ever managed to get a spot updated or deleted?

Unfortunately, I jumped in comments to say…no, I’ve not had any luck. Any moves that I’ve submitted have been rejected.

There's a stop near me that's a play area outside a store that was demolished during COVID and it's still there, probably will be forever.

I have proposed to rename the name of a pokestop which was truncated. The proposition has been accepted ... after 3 years.
