Hey I appreciate you putting US-specific in the post title.
There's no such thing as US specific on the Internet. Every law made concerning online presence anywhere will have at least a limited impact on the Internet as a whole.
That's true, and legislation that passes in the US also influences legislation elsewhere. However quite a few people from outside the US have repeatedly asked for discussions of this and other legislation to include something in the title that indicates that it relates to US legislation, so I went with US-specific on this post.
I am from the US, and I appreciate the tag. I think it's useful all around to know where the attacks are coming from.
A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.
