There are companies in Japan that will ship you shit from other companies that don't ship to customers abroad.

I'm trying to remember what some of them are called
I've used two, myself:
-
I used White Rabbit Express (apparently now called Japan Rabbit) a few times and was very satisfied with the experience. I think they may be on the pricier side, especially if you're buying from certain site, but I got everything I asked for in good condition and in good time and all the communication was in fluent English.

I also used Big in Japan's proxy service for something I couldn't get on White Rabbit Express. I think it's a smaller outfit, so things are less slick/automated (instead of adding things to a cart you send them an email with all the listings and the cost), but their fees are also lower (flat fee up to ¥20,000 and then percentage based after that) so depending on the situation they may be preferable. Also zero complaints about their service.
I've done this before and it totally works
