How the fuck is that smarmy bastard still filming InfoWars?

[–] iAmTheTot@sh.itjust.works 68 points 2 days ago

Because justice doesn't exist in the USA.

[–] chocrates@piefed.world 30 points 2 days ago

He had a 1.5 billion judgement against him and he can still spew his hate.

[–] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 22 points 2 days ago

That was my question! His beard is definitely a very manly all natural shade of brown though.

[–] grue@lemmy.world 12 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The court's "justification" (which is obviously bullshit, but nevertheless the argument) is that allowing him to keep making money increases his ability to pay the judgement.

[–] andros_rex@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

Despite the Onion offering a deal that the families were happy with.

It’s almost as if the court system in the US has a ton of judges who rule on their political views, not the spirit or letter of the law.

[–] seaQueue@lemmy.world 12 points 2 days ago

Because he's managed to avoid paying the sandy hook families

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

How has he not been assassinated? No idea.

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

My bet is that his audience are more likely to do that than the opposition.

Wormy words from a wormy excuse of a person. Love to see them turning on each other, but this is no surprise from Jones. He picks the team he thinks will carry himself to a win. Every. Time. There is no substance to this sack of shit and he'll pretend he never said any of this in the near future is my bet. Just like he always does because that is the kind of weak loser and failure that he is.

Who else didn’t have agreeing with Alex Jones on their bingo card?

[–] LordWiggle@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

I was about to say, the world must be extremely fucked up when I agree with this piece of shit. The meaning of a dystopia just reached a new level.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

something something broken clock.

[–] burgerpocalyse@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

dont mark that space, alexander is just posturing so his audience doesn't eat his ass

[–] Lucky_777@lemmy.world 29 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I'll give Alex Jones one thing. He knows what a cult is. He has studied many of them. He has to save face because 98% of his audience is MAGA.

He isn't wrong, though, and we have all been saying it for years.

"Totally not a cult"

[–] andros_rex@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

He’s picking Nazis. Fuentes was on there and doing complete mask off shit, which Alex did not push back on at all. They accused a caller of being Jewish and made a big deal of it.

[–] ScoffingLizard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 19 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Goddamn. You know shit is bad when Alex Jones is flipping.

[–] PDFuego@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

Jones has "flipped" on Trump a dozen times. It's meaningless and he's doing it for attention, which he's getting.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

Jones doesn't flip, he picks teams as he see fit. Not like he ever believed anything to flip against.

Don't hate the pla...

Wait, no we should hate the player and also the game.

[–] don@lemmy.ca 12 points 2 days ago

I don’t give a shit what that scroungy fuck has to say, he should be given a short drop with a sudden stop.

[–] db2@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

The right wing windbags are trying to cozy up like we're the same level of stupid they've been pandering to for so long. We remember, Alex, and we know what you are.

[–] proper@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago (3 children)

devils advocate here, i don’t see what these people have to gain from disagreeing with each other. like isn’t the foundation of their whole thing “yes and” like they’re all on the same page because they work for the same agendas. Is it trying to hold on to the base for their bigger picture even if it means throwing don under the bus? maybe they’re showing their willingness to sacrifice dt to maintain maga.

  • Iran is a distraction from Ukraine
  • California marines are a distraction from Iran
  • Epstein is a distraction from deportation of Americans

what's next? my guess, China. I've been seeing a large increase of fluff reporting China as "winning" and "growing".

[–] P00ptart@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

It's not fluff, they stand to gain the most from our downfall.

[–] naught101@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

I think they both have two motives: they are ideologues (neoliberal, fascist), and they are self-interested. MOST of the time, those interests align - at least enough to cooperate. But when they stop aligning to the point that any loyalty that exists is strained, then things fall apart.

[–] SinningStromgald@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

In short nothing.

But MAGA was built on conspiracy theories and their messianic leader isn't looking so messianic. If the Epstein files aren't released to confirm their belief in a Democrat deep state sex trafficking pedophile ring then what was it all for? And questioning their beliefs or any kind of introspection is impossible for them. Either a new leader will be chosen, Trump smooths things over with them, or MAGA fractures into various factions.
