I'm currently using Jerboa but curious to know whether any of the ones popping up are a better experience!

Just signed up today and am using jerboa.

After a quick search, I've decided to settle on Connect. The UI looks really familiar to Infinity, which is a giant plus for me.

on connect after the jerboa problems, taking a look at wefwef too, but it loads in my browser... haven't dug into the UI much, but it seems decent.

Jerboa is the most feature-complete, but it crashes pretty often and it adopts new Lemmy API versions a bit early, so all instances don't always have the time to get updated. Besides, the look is simple and functional, but I can't say it's pretty.

So far, I really like Thunder's looks, interface and UX. It's not very intuitive, but the swipe-based gesture system is really promising, and so far it's also the prettiestt. It still lacks many important features (editing posts and comments), but they're not essential enough to prevent me from using them, and I've been mostly browsing with that in the last few days.

Liftoff looks really good as well. As others said, it looks a lot like Infinity, which was my go-to Reddit app. However, I don't like the dark theme options we have so far: dark is too light, and AMOLED is a single black screen, which makes posts hard to distinguish at a glance. Once we get more theming options, I might switch to Liftoff.

Connect for Lemmy at the moment, as it has a very similar interface to sync, but I've signed up to be notified when Sync for Lemmy drops. Sync had everything I wanted for my Reddit app, and I'm hoping for a similar interface for Lemmy when it arrives.

Boost for Lemmy when it comes out. Been using Boost since 2017 and I hope to continue doing so!

Same here, loved Boost

I am using jerboa but really miss redreader, the creator floated making it support lemmy and I am excited for that possibility but am sticking with jerboa for now.

New user here. I use the Web app for now. Connect seems to make my phone freeze for whatever reason and I can't seem to login with jerboa because "my server version is too low"...

[-] Seraphim@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I am switching between Liftoff and Connect while I wait for Sync for Lemmy.

[-] HerrX2000@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I tried Jerboa and I couldn't login, now giving wefwef a try. Wefwef works but it's a PWA with iOS theme. I'd like to switch to App that is close to the original Android Reddit app.

[-] Thedogspaw@midwest.social 1 points 1 year ago

Wefwef.app best app so far

[-] Arkatruc@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

It's not an app though? It's just a browser shortcut, or am I missing a way to get an apk or something?

[-] h0lylag@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

It's a web app but it integrates fairly well. I'm testing it out now and it seems ok. I've been a sync user for many years though so when that's ready I'll swap over most likely.

[-] Putykat@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Actually I'm downloading the wefwef app as we speak

[-] erre@feddit.win 1 points 1 year ago

Jerboa and Connect. The former has been a bit unstable recently so Connect has been my go-to most recently.

[-] Tylerdurdon@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Connect for Lemmy

Pretty slick so far

[-] son_named_bort@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I originally used Jerboa. It was okay, but not quite what I was looking for. I've tried Connect and Liftoff and like those better. I'm waiting for Sync, as that was my Reddit app of choice.

[-] MrNemobody@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

I've tested many, but I always end up coming back to Jerboa.

[-] Marble_turret@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

Wefwef is good, but Sync is better imo

I use Liftoff and also test Thunder. Liftoff has a complete search function and Thunder a very pleasant UI.

Jerboa doesn't work with my instance at the moment, as it still runs on version 0.17.4.
