On https://divine.video/ there is a mention of Nostr, so it could be decentralized although not really considered to a part of the fediverse by most people.

At https://loops.video/ I browsed the comments on some videos, I found 2 comments from Mastodon, one of them the loops dev. So technically federation is happening.

I still see a lot of "how is Piefed different from Lemmy" questions, so there's definitely potential improvements in awareness

I wanted Loops to work but I just don't see it taking off, it's too niche with no mass appeal. I scrolled through the Popular page and the most-liked post was a Minecraft meme with only 162 likes. The second was a video someone reposted from Instagram with 90

Tried using their website and you can't sign up with email even, so it feels kinda half baked right now unless you're a Nostr user, which I don't even know what that is.
