Love how Russia still tries to make it sound like they are the poor little victims for starting an unprovoked war of aggression they could stop at any point

He’s not the only one. It’s the demagogue playbook. The world’s stage has become a high school playground where bullies run to the teacher crying when the bullied kid strikes back. Whether or not the teacher clearly saw them hit the other kid first is irrelevant – causing confusion is enough.

who is the teacher in this analogy?

[–] Photonic@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

Not a single entity. Their political opponents, the country’s population, its allies, enemies and trade partners and the rest of the world.

I wouldn't call it unprecedented if it's the second time this week...

Well more Russians will be aware that there is a war going on and it isn’t going well.

Has Putler maybe considered stopping the war he started?

Surprised they haven’t started dropping leaflets for the masses to read telling them that they’ll stop when Putin withdraws and returns their lands.

It's the digital age. As much as Russia has tried to stop it, anyone who cares already knows this. They just think it doesn't really effect them, or they buy into the bullshit Russia has said that they have to fight Ukraine because of Nazis or whatever bullshit.
