77% of national flags contain red.

...Which is a bit disturbing because it is generally used to refer to bloodshed or might in battle - partially in a "let's honor the past" sort of way, but mostly in a "don't fuck with us" sort of way.

You Beautiful parking lot

This sounds like something Leslie Knope would call Ann Perkins.

Because being poor, uneducated, and unloved with a chip on your shoulder makes you a likely Republican voter. I would bet the whole farm that unwanted children are far more likely to grow up to vote Republican, and I think that's one of the primary reasons they fight against abortion, and any other policies that increase education and security for children.

A sealed casket is buoyant. If a cemetery is flooded, caskets, especially of the recently deceased with disturbed soil, are known to rise through the soil and then dump their contents (bodies) into the floodwaters.

I did a thing a couple years ago where I dropped about $500 buying every style of boxer brief that looked appealing or had a strong fanbase. I tried saxx, Duluth, all citizens, meundies, bn3th, Mac Weldon, Lululemon, Tommy John, separatec, and probably a few others.

All Citizens are my winner overall - the BN3TH are also really nice - I actually like their cuts and design better, but the materials don't hold up nearly as well as the All Citizens. All Citizens are also much better value, IMO.

For the All Citizens, I'm specifically talking about their Paradise Pocket boxer briefs. My legs are proportionally beefy in comparison to my waist, so it's also nice that All Citizens offer an "Athletic Fit" option that keeps the legs from being overly tight. Just snug enough not to ride up without pinching or leaving a visible line visible through pants.

I still don't understand how we got here. My mom is a Botanist by education, with a graduate degree from a respected university. She lives in a small community right in the center or some of the most extreme wildfire risk in the country.

She brought up one day that if only her Governor would make sure the forests were raked up, the wildfires wouldn't be a problem.

It's so baffling.

Nah, don't give him, or his voters that credit. Motherfucker has been this dumb his whole life.

He's got to be the most extreme example of Dunning-Kruger effect out there.

Thinks he's a certified genius, meanwhile all his handlers have to break down concepts for him in such simplistic terms, he ends up literally thinking injecting bleach or putting powerful UV light inside the body are the solutions to COVID, or raking a forest is an actual solution to preventing widespread wildfires.

All conservatives seem to be anymore is 3rd grade schoolyard bullies. I guess they're just as weak and insecure. Such a shame that such a huge chuck of the population will never reach self actualization. What a pitiful existence - kinda makes me sad for them.

Non-Newtonian fluid would be fun, but the Jesus run would get banned after the first season.

I see Vance more as the guy that's chair of the HOA board, and drives around the neighborhood six times a day looking for any minor infraction to write up, but only for the residents he has beef with - looking the other way when one of his "friends" is in violation of the CC&Rs. So he's the guy that puts a lien on your house while you're in the hospital.
