Yeah I might still try to get it working for fighting games, but honestly I'm looking more for fun then competitive play. Just installed RetroBat and love it so far (it's basically emulation station but still), so might focus a little more on getting netplay working through that. Once I get it figured out, I'd love to find people on Matrix to play some of these games with, and most of the roms would be small enough to just uploaded and shared through a chatroom.
I actually tried fightcade earlier and I love how easy it is to set up. I installed some json files that auto download games you want to play. Only problem is... I can't connect to anyone else. Might be a port forwarding issue and I'll have to tinker with it tomorrow.
EDIT: One downside of Fightcade though is that it's only 1v1. So, if you want to play 3-6 player beatemups or whatever else that's more than 2 players, it won't work. Does seem ideal for fighting games though.
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!

Originally I stopped watching regularly after S2 but then got into later seasons more recently (thanks to you), and I have to agree that the later seasons are better in some ways. I especially love the focus on characters other than the Mane 6.
Yeah, I thought Fallout Equestria was good, though it is also pretty dark at points
I have no idea about Project Horizons but I'll probably avoid it in that case.
What if I don't want to have kids but still want to play with legos and visit dinosaur museums?
Please tell me this is satire
The regular (non-problematic) fandom also never really went away. There are still plenty of MLP related fanfic sites, discord servers, forum sites, subreddits, YouTube creators, etc. out there. It definitely isn’t talked as much about outside of those spaces, but it’s still fairly active.
Yeah I honestly haven’t seen any of that in the fandom in a long long time. Most MLP spaces I see these days are overwhelmingly queer. Maybe it’s just the spaces I tend to visit, but it seems like that part of the fandom fell off awhile ago.

That’s quite the headline. Had to read it a few times to make sense of it.
