The Dispossessed is very good. It's written in support of anarcho syndicalism but the whole book is a marxist dialectic comparing the anarchist and archist worlds (mostly the capitalist country but the USSR is also a thing
It might be my favorite fiction book now. Who would have guessed the woman who put a lathe into a man wrote a lot of good books
onto the short story in the same world and then either more graeber or maybe straight into the left hand of darkness
I feel like someone in the USSR must have written similar fiction to this but I know literally nothing about Russian/USSR fiction authors

it ends with the anarchist planet realizing the need for a cultural revolution to create a new better type of society from the contradictions posed, rather than just being a mirror of the capitalist one. It was written before Mao died so this is portrayed as an exciting thing
