Made no sense to me neither till I read the article..

The company gives people a card signed by other employees whenever they resign or whatever. Only 3 people signed it so they didn't give it to her. She then sues.

Isn't almost any keyboard able to last that long?

I make sure any motherboard I buy has at least 8 USB ports, so I know I'll have enough. It does make sense to use the PS/2 port if you have the peripherals. What advantage does USB have over it anyway?

Well, they get the snuff out competition and get to hold on to IPs. The thing is though: People are saying that there are good indie games, but I won't ever hear shit about said games unless I specifically go looking for them, which will almost never happen nowadays.

Even when I allow ads, game ads are pretty rare. AAA games were almost impossible to miss because there's always enough buzz, positive or negative, for the big ones.

So they essentially broke even? What sense does that make?

It’s the second ruling in favor of trans rights this month from the 4th Circuit, a once-conservative court that has become a trailblazer in the realm of transgender rights.

Not bad. Definitely not something I expected to read.

The decision will be appealed to the Supreme Court, which recently allowed Idaho to enforce a ban on gender-affirming care for minors.

Of course. This Supreme Court's really gonna do a number on the justice system for decades to come huh?

You really should look up how much Meta makes per quarter. They're doing the equivalent of setting aside a budget for hobbies.

Most definitely. They were complaining about them not making a profit, and they really thought blaming the few people using an Adblock made sense.

It's all to get more Premium subscriptions. The ads are an intentional problem with the "obvious solution" being advertised right there on the homepage.

Kinda related, but what's the point of the area painted yellow anyway? It's not like I can't see the giant pillar without it.

True, we all know he won't take it, especially considering that his benefactors would gladly match it for him to stay in his seat.

But it was a solid end to an episode outlining how scummy he is with his bribes. The episode wouldn't get as much traction as it would be seen as barely more than another call-out.

And in the one-in-a-milliom chance that he accepts, we still win.

Dishonored. I've had it for ages and only ever played the very escape mission. It actually got me to buy Dishonored 2 and start that.

Let's hope for BioShock in 2024.

It's a little different when you're getting doxxed and your family is getting pulled into it IRL.
