While I'm on the side of people that find the old Star Wars Extended Universe's highs being better than most of the stuff that is canon now, but Andor, especially if it sticks it's landing, will be better than anything from the EU.

There was a large drop in Gen Z turnout which seems to have correlated with a swing to the right in Young men for Trump as more left leaning people abstaned.
It says a loose adaptation of of the First entry of the series, so that may not be a good sign, but who knows. However I'm of course hoping for Majima Everywhere to be in every episode, which would sell it for me.

I'm not really surprised. There are polls that say for the first time ever a majority of Americans sympathize with Palestine. Granted if you go into more specific questions about the issue (ex: Two State vs One State, or Hamas) you may get more Liberal Zionist talking points. I also think Trump isn't helping with his use of the Palestine issues to clamp down on free speech.
