Ah, its okay to live with parents. I mean you might have other reason to want to move out, and I get that. People want independence, and that's okay. But like in this economy, its probably not a good idea to try living by yourself unless you get lucky and find a high paying job.

If your parents are okay with you staying with them, you should stay. Because if you cant afford to live by yourself, then roommates are necessary, but then when you think about it, aren't parents just like roommates? I mean you can think of parents like roomates that happen to be related to you. I mean, I have a relative that have a few of rentals as investment and their tenants are always either romantically involved, or roommates. Like nobody in this economy is really living by themselves.

TLDR; If your parents are okay with you living with them, then just accept their welcome. Not every parent allows their kids to live with them. Its not your fault, its the economy.

Edit: Well its also the housing crisis. Both the economy and housing crisis are to blame.

A simple google search would have many credible sources giving the answer to what tarrifs are.

But to the magats, only fox news has the truth.

The senate minority cant do shit either. The senate filibuster rules are enforced by the parliamentarian, who the vice president can overrule. Doesn't even need to abolish filibuster

Nah, too long. Can we get a thanos snap?

For niche things, you kinds have to go to reddit.

I mean the worst of reddit is on mainstream topics like politics anyways. You're less likely to see toxicity in like a gaming subreddit. (Less likely than politics anyways)

The US doesn't fight wars because of rightousness, but simply because which is more beneficial.

I mean in case of Ukraine, the US happened to be on the right side, but its not because the US actually cares about Ukrainians, but its because opposing Russia is beneficial to US allies in Europe.

But unfortunately on the Isreal-Hamas conflict, Israel is more useful to the US than Palestine, so the US got on the wrong side of the conflict. (To clarify, Hamas is not the "right side" either. The right side is siding with civilians of the conflict areas who simply want to live in peace.

Nullification is not off the table.

Just ignore what the president says. "States Rights" amirite?

I mean, this question is not just about normal criminals.

Think like very bad crimes. Like serial killers, rapists, child rapists, terrorists, corrupt officials, terrible leaders, cruel dictators, generals that ignore laws of war, or like people has bad as Hitler. Which of these people do you think deserve a respectful burial, if any.

Is there a level of evilness that you think should not be allowed to have a proper buriel or have their corpses mutilated. Or should everyone deserve a respectful burial regardless of crimes.

I personally don't even know how to answer this question myself. Like the funeral isn't even for the dead. Its for the living. So to me, the question seems like, should the relatives of a bad person be allowed to see the corpse treated respectfully. I personally don't have an answer to this question.

Stop. Electing. Fraudsters.

Especially when the fraudster is a convicted felon.

He could've murdered a child on live television before the election and the results would not have changed.

I mean, I see "leaked" videos of protests in authoritarian countries like China and just wonder why they dont just like make a backdoor that disables videos from being recorded. Or use some sort of 0-day exploit that installs malware on their phones and disable cameras.

I mean, I can't be the only one that thought of it, right? Surely someone in the government would've thought of it.

Wonder why such tactic isn't being used.

So I kinda just realized I didn't sleep for the past 24 hours. Noy sure if it's the longest I've been awake, but probably of the top 5 longest. I'm dealing with depression so my sleep cycle have been fucked up. Got coffee I think around the 12th hour mark.

I've basically just been watching youtube videos, browsing lemmy. Googled random things.

Idk why, I guess I just wanted some dopamine boost from coffee and now I can't sleep lmao. Maybe a bit of anxiety around certain recent political events.

I honestly am not sure if I'm actually awake or dreaming.

Anyways, what is the longest time you've been awake without sleep? When did it happen and why?

I'll be honest, I don't even want to read articles anymore. Its just crazy cabinet nominees every time. Wars happening. Nothing I can control. I just post something sarcastic or jokes in the comments. The only thing I care is if a hurricane is headed in my direction.

Y'all actually read all this shit? How does anyone have the energy?
