They already don't. Their power is based off money alone. No one actually likes them, let alone looks up to them. The people who claim to be "inspired" by them are only inspired by their vast fortunes, not with their persons.
I recently swapped out my old 2080 with a new 5080, but my i7 8086K (type of 8700) is over six years old and it's really struggling hard with recent titles. Oblivion remastered or Helldivers 2 take between 85 and 95% of cpu time.
The bottleneck is tremendous. I ordered a new cpu, mem, mobo & cooler to bring it back up to par.
There is simply no way the powers that be would've allowed it. They allow him his "platform" because it effectively rounds people they might deem "interesting" up so they can better surveil them. If there was ever a real chance of him getting closer to power he would've been JFK'd immediately. I'm still not convinced that isn't the plan for AOC, but ofc I hope I'm wrong.

I suppose this can be mitigated by installing a local LLM that doesn't phone home. But there's still a risk of getting downright bad advice since so many LLM's just tell their users they're always right or twist the facts to fit that view.
I've been guilty of this as well, I've used ChatGPT as a "therapist" before. It actually gives decently helpful advice, compared to what's out there available after a google search. But I'm fully aware of the risks "down the road", so to speak.
The biggest problem with Google's offerings is their total lack of support.
I don't trust any of these "giving pledges" upon death. In name, their fortunes will pass on to nonprofits. Nonprofits controlled by their family members, which comes down to letting them keep their inheritances tax-free. This even happens in Europe.
I remember a time when 4chan wasn't an alt-right fomenting ground and the jokes, though crude, were actually made in jest with no intended malice. At some point the "ironic" humor was't ironic anymore and that's when I bailed. That was around '07 or '08.

I hope it works, but I wouldn't count on it. Hypocrisy has become a valued skill rather than a character flaw in this administration.

It had not long before declared soldier emperor Maximinus I Thrax an enemy of the people, and this Maximinus meanwhile marched with his army to Rome. In an emergency session of the Senate, Pupienus and Balbinus were then elected emperors. The people, however, did not take this lightly, and became restless. By appointing the later Gordianus III as Caesar, worse was prevented.
Pupienus, the more militarily experienced of the two emperors went to Ravenna to build up an army and take on Maximinus. This went surprisingly well, as Pupienus was able to get many soldiers from Germania, and Maximinus' supplies ran out. Maximinus was then killed by his soldiers, who otherwise kept quiet after a commutation.
Pupienus returned to Rome, where Balbinus did not control the situation. However, peace returned somewhat with the arrival of Pupienus. However, the emperors among themselves did not trust each other one bit. Pupienus therefore wanted his Germanic troops with him. The Praetorian Guard did not like this and killed both emperors. Caesar Gordianus became emperor.

Poor Terra has an inflamed toe she can't leave alone, so the vet fitted her with a collar for a few days. The bloodtest showed that she's reacting great to her hyperthyroidism-medicine, and the doc even commented on how her kidney, liver and bone marrow values were almost perfect, wich isn't all that common in 15 yr old senior kitties.
