I mean that's an even other point, but yea, political right is heavily censored and trashtalked, but that's not only done by lemmy.ml, just by Lemmy not liking political right. We shouldn't accept certain things, though, but yea, everyone should be able to voice their opinion, as long as it respects human rights and isn't stated as fact but as an opinion.

Known for having moderation that’s heavily biased towards left (in a political way), and that defends "tankies"/pro authoritarian, while heavily criticizing capitalism and censoring opinions that they don’t like. Overall they’re not really proactive in that task, but their instance brings the few % of people from hexbear that are too passionate.

An instance with a political point of view is likely to censor opposing opinions anyway.

Or lemmy.ml 👀

Mhh, I would prefer to take a safer option, but thanks for the useful infos :)

Interesting, but I find the documentation pretty light. Doesn’t help me trust it. Seems like you either have to self host a whole web server or stream to a third party websites that doesn’t really explain how security is handled.

Windows, but I'll be switching to Linux eventually, so I would prefer a solution that supports both OS

Alright! I try to stay away from WebRTC / browser stuff though, as I feel like it's too limiting (limited codecs, quality, settings, often slow...)

[–] MajesticElevator@lemmy.zip 2 points 19 hours ago (3 children)

Someone proposed this before. I’ll have to try, but I’m afraid it will be a bit janky. Can’t only stream a specific app with sound, and probably can't configure too much (quality, FPS, ...)

What should I use with OBS? I believe it can't be used by itself, and I need something to stream to.

That's what I was looking into but yea, it seems their screen sharing capabilities are still too limited. Thanks for sharing though :)

[–] MajesticElevator@lemmy.zip 1 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

For full sharing I chose Moonlight + Sunshine which gives great visuals and sound, but it has the drawback of also outputing audio when in a call. Isn't this similar?

I'm looking for screensharing without control

Wondering if anyone knows good alternatives to Discord's screen sharing feature (good quality, good framerate, low latency, and sound support).

Preferably FOSS, but at this point I'm taking all answers. Feel free to redirect me if there's any other community I should ask this in.

6. How does Waterfox make money?

Waterfox has search partnerships. That is, the default search on Waterfox is monetised. If you search with it, Waterfox gets a share of the revenue. You are under no obligation to use the default search - but if you like what Waterfox does and want to support the project, please consider using it.

I joined this instance recently and I really like the cool custom additions and tweaks! It’s nice to have an admin that knows what they’re doing and takes the time to develop solutions.

I’m glad to be here :)

I found this randomly on Steam and ended up really liking it!

I still haven't completely finished it yet, but I'm pretty impressed by how long and interesting the story is. The more you go the more mysteries come up and you want to know more.

The characters are lovely and I really like the 2D/3D style. Give it a try!

With the release of Season 4 coming in three days, I guess now is a good time to make a community specialized for this series on Lemmy!

Idk if it’s the season itself, but I was excited to watch S1 but I stopped S2 with half the episodes left

Maybe it’s just getting repetitive, or the plot isn’t moving fast enough for me. I guess no new "mechanics" were introduced.

What’s your opinion on this?
