It's a very pretty desk!

Can't wait to try touching the chair only for it to yeet itself into a wall, juddering around making the worst sound known to God before it suddenly falls into the subocean and disappears from ~~the game~~ reality.

I liked reading all those books! Never got to play in World of Darkness though. Unless you count Exalted as part of it.

Which I did. I know they changed the lore to unconnect the two settings but I liked they were connected.

Oh wait no! I played one session of Werewolf. I was a hacker wolf. I had a hacker spirit.

Their emails are amazing. And the spices are very very good. I need to get some more of their vanilla. It was on sale, I think it might still be for today.

Also there's sometimes pictures of pets in the emails.

It's so nasty when you get delivery and the food reeks of cigarettes.

One time it smelled of coppertone sunscreen which was wild and also off putting but in very different ways.

Everything that has yarn.

Yarn just seems to take over a home everywhere I've seen it.

As a child, I'd often have soup or sandwiches (normal, not with just breakfast ingredients) for breakfast, which always bothered my mother.

I also think waffles are an all day food and should not be left to just breakfast times.

I'd call this house small, compared to the childhood home, which was two stories and 3 bathrooms. This is one bathroom, one story.

I prefer here? Less to take care of, smaller, can find my husband easily and it doesn't feel empty.

I do miss multiple bathrooms. Three people and one bathroom, sadness.

I was taught they were called pill bugs. Although I knew them as also roly polys. My mother called them pill bugs, the other kids called them roly polys.

She told me it was an east coast versus west coast name and clearly is more "every group of people had decided they wanted to name this thing themselves" XD

I didn't enjoy it very much. Which was surprising to people. I just really preferred to faff about and investigate things and die to things I was not suppose to say hello to yet.

Sudden winter reminds me of winter in Dwarf Fortress, where rivers freeze suddenly and completely.

My poor adventurer, frozen solid as winter hit as she crossed a river.

For Thanksgiving! Since I didn't want to make pie this year. It's nice and creamy, without the sometimes grainy feel pumpkin pie can have. I'll have to try and get some graham crackers to sprinkle on top.

Deadlands is an RPG originally published in 1993. It's been through a few iterations and currently is under Savage Worlds rules, I think.

This very old book is from the original run.

What happens if the supernatural comes back to the world during the American Civil War? Well you get gunslingers dealing with hucksters, people who make deals with demons to sling magic and Blessed running around trying to save the world with Mad scientists makings thing better (or far worse) while all dealing with blood thirsty tumbleweeds (tumblebleeds) and the dealing with the Reckoners, unknown True Evils.

The original system was its own creation, using a deck of cards including 2 jokers and multiple types of dice, it was an exciting system. Eventually the old system was replaced a free times and it's currently published under Savage Rules.

I can only talk on the original system, quite liking the use of decks of cards for initiative and other uses. Combat could be quite slow, but it is a very flavorful system.

This is a bad photo, but it's the book from our shelf!

Personally I'd go with Independence Day if I had to pick a movie that felt the most 90s.

My phone seems to inaccurately count steps, and I'm worried that could be a problem? It gives me too many steps. I counted how many steps it takes to walk from one room to another, which is around 12 - 16 steps. The app routinely gives me over 25 steps though! I'm hoping this won't be an issue? I might be over thinking.
