As if there were any more proof needed that being "pro-life" is really just an excuse to be a judgemental prick, this most certainly provides the final nail in the coffin against the idea that there's any other real reason for it.

Sorry, but about the only thing I found interesting about this post (since it posed a question it didn't answer in any way) was the HP with the PSU designed right under the expansion card slots. Seems like something that would be incredibly prone to causing problems for those cards due to heat, which makes me feel I must be missing something because it's such a blatantly obvious issue.

Dunno about iOS, but on Android you can do the same things even with the commercial apps with regard to notifications, ringing, etc. You're right about the algorithms and various methods of trying to keep you "engaged," though.
The following times aren't either if they're so good that "it feels like the first time."

Spent part of my childhood living in a nearby town (Wiesloch, which we got to by going through another called Nußloch - literally translated as "nuthole" which amused the heck out of me as a kid), while going to school at the Internationale Gesamtschule Heidelberg. Loved the castle. Like most, I'm quite nostalgic for that time & am so glad I got to spend so much time in Germany.
