Nah it would be advertised as .9⁸ instead (which is 0.43)

Parallelograms, not trapezoids. Kind of. Maybe. Or maybe trapeziums.

See… some define trapezoid as specifically one set of parallel sides (originally trapezium). Some as no parallel sides (originally trapezoid) Those two were swapped by some asshole, and then swapped back in England but not in America.

Though most now just say a trapezoid (or trapezium in England) is at least one set of parallel sides, which makes parallelograms a type of trapezoid. Which does make a rectangle a type of trapezoid.

They call only one pair of parallel sides a proper trapezoid instead.

“Actually the battery will probably lose the exact amount every year, and nothing will ever go wrong with any parts of it, and also they’ll also break the rest of the car at the same rate as a gas car, which is 20 years, which we’re going to call 15 years. Which means in 12 years the car will be useless, but the battery will still be at 80%. MATHS.”

Fucking. What.

You mean… the literal focus areas of the great green wall is turning green after almost 20 years of work?

Like, yeah storms are pushing in where maybe they shouldn’t but also this is shit multiple countries full of people have been working at since 2007.

To be fair, the literal same is true of cops killing people. Not a stat legally required to be recorded in many states. Which is fucking insane.

Edit: posted below, only California and Texas have to report fatal use of force.

Seriously I’ve said it before if you’ve backed legislation found to be blatantly unconstitutional you should be removed from office.

“Must live in the middle of nowhere. Must have a vehicle you will not be paid to maintain. Must provide your own medical insurance so we don’t have to provide it legally. Must give us $450 to start. Must be cool with making minimum wage for a minimum of 3 months. Probably forever. Good luck paying for rent, increased gas and maintenance on your car, and your own medical on minimum wage. I hope you die. Welcome to the family.”

So, the first amendment gives you the right to free speech, and yet inciting a riot or other dangerous forms of speech are still not protected.

Arms does not mean guns. It just means weapons and/or armor. Dangerous things can and should be protected. Not all weapons need be for the public, as I’m pretty sure no one would be okay with any civilian having their own nuke stockpile. I don’t see why we can’t dial it back a bit more to try and reduce access to guns when we’ve continually seen how much destruction they can cause.

In rejecting the bill, Newsom noted that the state's unemployment trust fund is already nearing $20 billion in debt.

"Now is not the time to increase costs or incur this sizable debt," he wrote in a message explaining his veto.

Yup makes sense. The title could mention this at all. Knew there had to be some reason, because it’s stupid to do that with him posturing for president in the next run. I’d rather him have vetoed it and said if you want this passed then it needs to include further funding for the unemployment fund.
