Wisconsin. 90 lbs per day is a kid's ration there.

Nice! I could tell instantly it was a Prius. I am never thrilled to replace the battery in mine. If you don't get that black tubing back there reseated and bolted in properly it gets incredibly loud and annoying.

On the other hand, the dealership charges almost $200 in labor to change it, so I am learning to love the process.

If this is in the US I would guess the city put a giant flashing "Share the Road" sign there for a while and everybody had to go around.

I read this in the "Watch those wrist rockets!" way and completely lost it.

My mom said it to me frequently before I cut her out, which is a pretty good indication it's not normal. A therapist would tell you that's a reflection of her issues; if she had a different kid instead of you she would have said the same thing to them. You, as a person, don't really factor into why she feels that way.

As for your feelings, let me know what you come up with. I'm in the same boat emotionally and I don't see a way out either.

Yeah, I read your post yesterday and I don't understand what's happening here either.

I didn't have anything to say at the time, but it hasn't left my brain yet.

You definitely seem to have the second amendment backwards, as others have mentioned.

Additionally, the US government has turned the military on its own protesters several times. The Kent State massacre, The Battle of Blair Mountain, and the 1967 Detroit riots are all instances where they murdered civilians and faced no consequences. It's completely legal and, in all three of those cases, was happily endorsed by much of the populace.

Hey, it's Mac's mom from Always Sunny.

Yeah, I gotta admit I definitely assumed most of those things would be true. I knew it could be messy, but I didn't realize it was such a loosely bound garbage heap.

Code Ment "Where are you right now!?" "I'M AT SOUP"

A classic that has not aged well, but that scene will always be great.

Looks great so far. Those aspects are really concise but convey a ton of possibilities. I'd be interested in seeing the stunts. I'm really happy to see Fate in here, so I'm looking forward to seeing updates on this!

Wanted a loaded hot dog but found out half way through we only had mini-dogs.

Mini hotdogs and cheddar cheese broiled on a hotdog bun. Loaded up with rice, broccoli, oyster sauce, and Sriracha.

Ended up being delicious. A real hotdog would have been better; the minis kept falling out or moving with each bite. I'd put the Sriracha under the rice next time. It mostly ended up smearing on my face.

Posting one reaction image from my phone for each image I steal.

I saw an article about keelhauling and realized I don't know much about pirates (those on the sea, not the internet) beyond what I've seen in movies. Tell me your most interesting pirate facts. Mythical or historical.

My son is obsessed with Mario LEGO and had his own little table in the corner of the LEGO room. It was overflowing and my wife hated how messy it looked. While she was away for a few days I made this.

Two partial sheets of 3/4" birch plywood with French cleats attached, painted white, were mounted on the walls. Then the desk just slots into the second-lowest cleat, using the bottom cleat as support.

As he grows we can raise the desk a couple times, eventually bringing it up to 29" from the ground which is about regular desk height.

I also made a few shelves and a box for him to organize with out of the plywood scrap.

He likes that he can rearrange his storage as he pleases. I made a couple more medium-sized shelves that aren't pictured, and I may someday make a corner triangular shelf for Bowser to sit on.
