Any advice? I’m trying to get a handle on it but I’m having trouble remembering anything or finding what to do in the first place.

Jetbrains Rider for C# and VSCodium for arduino / microcontroller programming.

Not to mention— the value for that 30% on platform + 0% off platform cut for steam is insane. The payment processing, storage, hosting, worldwide routing and caching, multiplayer sdks and integrations, and dozens of other publisher / developer available tools are worth every single penny to have valve handling for you.

The value is there and so is the install base.

Just a reminder that as long as you don’t need any kind of platform hosting or complex multi-user setup, git itself works fine on a remote machine as your server, even just on LAN. (As always, just setup an ssh key on the two machines so ssh commands are secure and don’t require passwords all the time)

Because I can’t take off my skin but I can put on more clothes/blankets. As a human nuclear furnace, I sweat and get uncomfortable as rooms start going over 70f. It’s miserable.

Funny joke but on a serious note: you don’t need any money to call emergency services from any landline in North America. Including pay phones! If you ever find yourself in an emergency, a pay phone nearby is a great resource. All mobile phones within cell range can also call emergency services even without a wireless plan— it just needs to be in range of a compatible signal tower, no matter the provider.
