The system is so ass backwards now. I was just talking to a retiree who said his first claim denial resulted with him getting a lawyer and now its been 4 years of just some law office letting him know he got approved for another prescription. The costs are all between medicaid, the insurerer and probably some dumbass in the government or insurance admin who just rubberstamps claims and checks.

180k to live in the bay area is an insult.
Saved $500M but spent $80B. That's a $79.5B loss.
Im sure that $500M will magically start making it worth it.
I'll be right back, going to ask AI how.
Its not just his letters, his army of corporate lawyers and lower tier federal judges are also a threat. About as much of a threat as a fart in the wind, but still enough to generate the headlines he needs.
I've just been disabling javascript but now that I see there are over a dozen of other sites that block paywalls, I'll start heading that way.
These news publishers should read up more about the Streisand Effect.

The real convo we will never hear about until its revealed in some obscure court case:
Phil Spencer: "We would like kernel level DRM on your Steam Deck in order for Game Pass to work."
Gabe Newell: "Hahahahahaha! Let me know when you retire Game Pass. k thx bye need to print money."
Exactly!
Your employer likely uses TheWorkNumber, that place lets anyone have all your data. Previous employers, W2s, dependents, SSN, salaries, bonuses, benefits, address, marriage status. Its given freely to corporations because fuck you this is America and this what we voted for.
Can something already shitty be enshittified more?
Great analogy, its almost like there is an elevator but most voters are so stupid they choose to take the stairs or jump off the building.
I'm confused by it too. Like if my kid gets accepted into Harvard but doesnt leave their bedroom how is the blame on Harvard or me or my Govt? The kids constantly bombarded by social media and addicting microtransaction games, blame them...
