i dont think this, in isolation, will change much other than healthcare ceos getting security details. but it may be a sign of the shifting political consciousness of americans. it may be the case that the 2030's will have some 60/70's style domestic terrorism going on. Assassinations and kidnappings of high profile individuals, bombings, that sort of thing. Who knows. The pressure is increasing every year, it's undeniable at this point.

Couple thoughts:

  1. As always this is fuckin rich coming from the Regime Change country
  2. US policy impacts literally everybody because the US can't fuckin mind their own business so in a pretty real sense the rest of the world should be allowed to vote in US elections.

When does this "pragmatism" pay off? When does it deliver results? This is the question these people never address. What is the purpose of being pragmatic?

I'm old enough to have been around for a fair few election cycles now and I'm not sure I've ever actually seen things meaningfully change for the positive. All of the change I've been seeing throughout my life is a worsening of conditions for the majority of people, except in China and perhaps the EU until the last 10 years or so.
