Hi everyone,

as you may have noticed, I currently do not have time to spend on the server as is necessary for a lemmy instance (moderation, the occasional post, updating lemmy software). So, I decided that it would be better to close the server and instead spend the money on the infrastructure of Lemmy itself. This means you have 2 months to find a new community for H.P., which shouldn't be a problem and has already happened in parts (see https://diagonlemmy.social/post/104129).

Thanks for all the support and the many posts, it was really fun creating this place on the Fediverse with you guys!

PS: The community decided to move to https://literature.cafe/c/harrypotter :)

Hi, I'm currently not really able to monitor the instance. Maybe better migrate to a more reliable instance. Sorry :( (I'm just looking in occasionally)

That's fine of course. GoT has become especially interesting with the House of the Dragon installment. Probably that also had an effect on fanfiction.
