We already live in a culture that glorifies constant violence. Roughly one person gets murdered every day in New York City, and dozens have been killed across the U.S. since the CEO's death. We wait with bated breath for the next school shooting, or episode of police brutality, to fill the news with more poor bodies. I've even been personally affected, having to dive out of the way of a fleeing gunman to avoid stray bullets from his automatic.

The only thing that has happened is equality. The billionaire class that has fostered and profited from the culture of violence has had a taste of what we get to go through every day. If there is any slippery slope to slide down, it has been sloped by the bourgeoise.

Imagine what happens if they fail, and they can't even produce a fall guy?

The thing is, Americans know their police force is lazy and useless. We're all joking about all the murders that will go unsolved that have occurred since the CEO's death. Now, there's a real chance that their incompetence will be on full display. Is it really out of the question to think that they have become so impotent that someone could carefully plan and execute an assassination?

No, I think he should escape into myth. I hope that he had a planned exit strategy for the end of this, and that he manages to flee the U.S. If he is caught, I believe he will be made an example, a metaphorical head on a pike to scare people off.

I'm not sure, but locals tagged "Deny, Defend, Depose" near me. If nothing else, seems there'll be good branding made of it.

Now? The U.S. has been an oligarchy for so long it's comfortable removing the mask.

The one and only time I phone police is after a car accident, and only because insurance claims require a police report to go anywhere. Even then, most cops fuck up the report or leave out important details, so it's out of legal obligation and not actually wanting the service.

I've no idea why anyone would willingly call the police of their own accord. They will not help you. If you've been robbed, it's already gone. If you've been stabbed or shot, you want an ambulance. If your spouse is abusing you, they'll side with your spouse. Statistically speaking, U.S. cops do less than nothing for the communities they pretend to serve. It's the equivalent of calling a motorcycle gang to solve your problems, except a motorcycle gang would probably be motivated to achieve better results.

The thing is, that culture has been breaking. More and more people have internalized the idea that there is a seperate legal system for the rich and powerful. Politeness is being eroded in favor of toxicity. People are losing trust in political institutions.

The U.S. is a powder keg of poor, desperate people waiting for a match.

I feel like this guy has more severe disqualifications than enjoying a few hands of poker every Friday.

Oh no, it would be such a shame if the culture of constant violence began to introduce some of that violence to the people responsible for and benefiting from said culture of violence. A united movement of violence against the owners of capital might remind them of the collective power the proletariat wield, and the relevant safety benefits provided by a cooperative framework. What a terrible and horrible thing to happen.

Just glad to know it's still kicking around. Ape managed to kickstart an entire generation of cozy games, while remaining the best among them. As long as its still cooking, I'm sure it'll be great when it comes out.

You know how people like to satirize the stock market by claiming it runs on blood?

We're living in a satire.
