It can also come off by being scraped by metal cooking utensils

It's so impressive how many times Oda has done that across all of One Piece, like I've literally re-read huge chunks of the series because of massive lore drops
He'll fit, trust the plan...
I still think the snitch was Shamrock and Shanks is a rat in a non-WG aligned way. Also I feel like the Gorosei wouldn't care about Blackbeard's lineage because they assumed they could keep him under their thumb until he went rogue, but Blackbeard's ambition is more than they expected.
You lathed Seraphim Ace, it's been foretold
Looking forward to see what new exciting ways Carney will completely fold to Trump's demands
It really raises more questions about Blackbeard's origins: how did he learn about Rocks? what lead him to join Whitebeard?
Thanks for posting the thread! TCB posted the chapter literally an hour after I checked >.>
This is such a good chapter, the crumbs of world building, multiple backstories covered and topped off with a huge reveal! Loki is 100% joining the crew I'm calling it now.
Xebec being revealed as the Blackbeard's father is interesting, I wonder if his pirate ideology is different to Blackbeard's? Luffy is parallel to Roger because they seem to have the conception of freedom, whereas Blackbeard is very focused on gaining power and copying Xebec with the way his crew is structured and his tactics which makes me think he's aping it for his own goals instead of whatever Xebec was about.
There Are Tank Mans Everywhere For Those With The Eyes To See
Patently false, I love chocolate and I'm dumb as rocks
Highly recommend getting back to it! I'm around 30 hours in and the game feels like it opens up after the first couple in-game days and there's a lot more story threads going on
I'm still working on my first playthrough of Disco Elysium and made some decent progress yesterday
- Had the title drop moment in the church/dance club
- Uncovered that the 8th Hardie Boy is connected to drug running
- Learned a civil war might break out from a planned extrajudicial assassination by PMC jackboots
- Talked to an insufferable European politician
- Attended my first communist reading group
No spoilers please.
I was assuming Loki's eyes would be cute and that's why he bandaged them lol.
I like the thematic implications of Loki's "curse" being because of the blood purity politics. He's pure on according to the conservative social values, but still rejected because of that. It's also interesting to see Oda invert his usual femme design trope where Estrid is more conventionally attractive, but reactionary and Ida is more plain, but progressive.
I thought parchment paper used PFAS too? Or maybe it depends on the brand?
