Yes. Continent is a dubious cultural term, not geographical. See map men's genial video on the topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrsxRJdwfM0

I looked up cxmt as I wasnt familiar with it. It's from mainland China, while Asus is from Taiwan, do they want to sell the limited supply to the rivals?

But isn't the chip supply is already limited? It won't really help with the shortage.

Here the buttons in the header gives it away, that's a common gtk thing. Kde apps have file,... menu at the top usually, on gtk apps that's usually behind an ellipsis button. Default theme is quite different, e.g. gtk is more rounded, buttons have bigger padding. Custom themes can override that, but on store pages you should see the default on screenshots.

Well kde apps doesn't look good on my gnome. Is it also a gtk issue?

That's a gtk app, so you should look solutions for gtk apps on kde. Or does it also happen in default (qt) apps?

(It's a known issue that the 2 big DEs don't like apps from the other, as a gnome user I try to find gtk based alternatives if they exist.)

Comaps assumes some default speed limits if they are missing in osm, unfortunately it's the same value globally, depending on road type. See related issue here: https://codeberg.org/comaps/comaps/issues/1000

The values are in this file: https://codeberg.org/comaps/comaps/src/branch/main/libs/routing_common/car_model_coefs.hpp

You can't expect a random non tech youtuber to review the code of a browser addon, and paypal just simply lied to them. Of course it lowers the even low reputation of tech channels like ltt and mkbhd, I would expect that they have at least someone in their team with a basic front end knowledge. But again, paypal is a big, old, trusted name (at least it's used to be), it paid them good money why would they expect it's a scam?

My most important takes:

  • people don't understand what browser addons can do
  • if a product is heavily advertised by youtubers/influencers it's probably a scam. Exhibit b: vpns

Some were posted here:

I'm in some matrix group chats, but since usernames were added it wouldn't be strange in signal either. But I always mute all groupchats, and read them later.

Areas south of the Antarctic Circle experience extreme day-night cycles near the times of the June and December solstices, making it difficult to determine which time zone would be most appropriate. For practical purposes time zones are usually based on territorial claims; however, the time zone of their supply base is often utilised (e.g., McMurdo Station and Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station use New Zealand time due to their main supply base being Christchurch, New Zealand). In most areas south of 80 degrees latitude, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is assumed despite the limited presence of clocks.
