Sorry for wanting to learn about decentralized payment solutions...

The important part about a negation is the negation itself. It changes the meaning to the opposite of what was stated.

Yeah ReVanced/Morphe work but if you really want to go against the monopoly YouTube has as a consumer you need to consume alternatives. More people on alternatives -> more creator will switch and so forth. Of course it is somewhat a chicken and egg problem but thats what you should do from a consumer perspective to break that circle.

Germany is complicit in another genocide. We won't learn from our history with countless other genocides as it seems.

And not on F-Droid... I mean your post is kinda nice overview for alternative apps but why make those false statements...

Thats interesting. How would you go about saving a community?

[–] jamin@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 days ago (2 children)

I mean are the posts in any way recreatable because they are also saved on other instances when accessed from there right? Of course you can create another community with the same topic :D

What happens when an instance shuts down. Can the spaces/subreddits whatver they are called be recreated? If so, how?

Maybe this is also more DataHoarder oriented but how does torrenting actually work? I know this is probably a question that is stated quite often, but with all the terms and everything is there any good resource to start getting into it and FULLY understanding the concept? I want to do my part and seed some niche things that interest me but idk how to do it safely especially because of location (Germany). I also already heard of usenet, how does it differ from normal torrenting?

Damn, i wonder if it is harder to clean then a regular one. Seems really great

The PeerTube Android App seems to lack some features (for example background play) and has some weird behaviour (closes the video when I tap away, doesn't really seem to save the timestamp of closure when I try to replay).

So I wanted to know if you use other Clients that you find better/cleaner or at least some I should take a look at?
