My Xbox Series S is my low spec gaming system :) dreadful frame rates and embarrassing graphics combined.

A friend recently gave me his old computer which was high spec six years ago and it only runs Windows 10 or Linux. I haven't even plugged it in yet but I'm sure it'll be fun for Spring RTS and 0 A.D.

Power does what it wants / water is wet.

Great, but when will you guys stop stealing my exclusives? 🤣

BTW ps5 still needs Halo Wars 2. It's a great game when it doesn't abruptly crash.

Anyone with a job can afford it. I'm happy with the price of the premium package, but it's pointless without free disk space. I'll try to buy a cheap Series X just before it's obsolete. I love my old games!

Finally some marketing?

I'm glad I'm broke because I dont even have to think about it until it becomes a necessity. 8GB is enough for everyone :P

I'll stick with my 7 year old pc thanks. My friend in his 70s tried to buy a new PC but they didn't have the parts here in New Zealand.

My flat mate from Hong Kong was sceptical about the arrests. It looked to me like they're actually going to punish people but my flat mate is telling me it's basically for show. Now i don't know what to believe.

"The nation has long ranked among the world’s top opium poppy producers, claiming the top spot after a 2022 Taliban government crackdown crushed the trade in Afghanistan."

About what I expected. The U.S. barely did anything about the problem and now the Taliban are stopping the opium and also putting addicts through religious drug programmes.

There's every chance it could end badly for russia - just imagine their war time economy transitioning to civilian economy even if they do "win" (whatever win means). That said, Ukraine has problems with not having enough infantry, so they can't assault Russian territory and take back land, unless Russia recently advanced but had no time to fortify. A lot of people are drunk on Ukrainian propaganda and they may have to accept reality in the end.

I'd like to hear from someone who's played Phantom Fury on Xbox. Are there annoying bugs or crashes?

I notice they just updated Ion Fury but it seems that it doesn't remember my controller settings so it drives me mad. I don't have any faith in the companies behind this. They took 4 years to release The Aftershock DLC on console and that's just not good enough. We also never got the final patch for Ion Fury, the one that let's you charge up the crossbow and then release it again without wasting the ammo. You can put it away without firing it. Maybe the last patch added that I'm not sure.

There was another bug where enemies never made the noise they make when they spot you. That was fixed on PC 4 years ago but I'm unsure if it's been added to console.

I'm listening to the Perfect Dark soundtrack (2000) I never played this game until last year so I have little bias towards this sound track, like I don't love it just because I heard it when I was a child or anything. I played Goldeneye but not this.

The music is MIDI I think, so it feels familiar. One of the themes sounds similar to Goldeneye's "Cradle" and another one sounds like a track off Battlezone: Combat Commander (Red Odysee DLC)

Perfect Dark is a sci-fi action game, so the music suits that. Sometimes the tempo changes suddenly which is cool. Many games now have movie-like soundtracks which is really boring!

Listen to parts of Perfect Dark and the Battlezone DLC "Red Odysee" and see if you like it.

I haven't played it but I might get into these if I had more hard drive space (in a few years). There are a few messed up games, like The Quarry. There's another story based one I can't recall. Based in a desert part of the U.S. I think.

I mostly play War Thunder ground realistic battles, but I'm also playing a little bit of Aven Colony which is a nice city-builder game (human colony on various alien worlds) it runs fairly well on Xbox. I also have Cities Skylines and I'm trying one of the scenarios which is probably near-impossible. Yeah I enjoy a lot of city builders, but for some reason I can't stand Stellaris or Crusader Kings III.
