The KinGrinder ones have a hexagonal bolt where you put the handle on... or your cordless screwdriver with a bit holder. Really like that feature.
I guess it's not the only fan inside the computer? For further investigation one needs a photo of the system, with the settings of other fans.
Just a quick guess: it could pull heated air from your cpu eg., or work against the airflow of other fans in your rig.

You could instead deactivate Wifi/Cellular on your phone to remind you not to doomscroll in bed. Cheapest solution I guess.
