If I'm struggling with depression, I get ostracized as a "loser" that haven't accomplished anything but if I die in a tragic accident tonight, I'm a "young man with a bright future ahead" in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

Mostly true but one thing is wrong, no one is ostracizing you. Most people don’t think about anyone other than themselves.
