I was born between 2000 and 2005. looking up online says that genz is born in mid to late 2000s, and i can get to that by technicalities, but year of birth does not really reflect on one's nature.

So if i want to know if I am gen z or not, what do i do (and i do not want checlists, etc).

If being unable to find employment despite graduating with good grades is one, then I a guess I am one.

(While I have heard this theory before too, this is one of the cleanest forms I have seen. Theory that will does not usually go in kin was already present, and back then we did not know xebec was teach's fatherr, so they were compatible. If I find a earlier iteration of theory, I will also add that here)

There’s a pattern in One Piece that is highly relevant to the current flashback: the men of the D Clan have sons that do not follow in their footsteps, instead they have to look elsewhere to find their true heirs.

Roger’s son did not want to become the Pirate King, as Ace wanted it to be Whitebeard. Instead, it was Shanks, Roger’s adopted son, who inherited his will by passing it to Luffy

Garp wanted his son (and grandson) to become strong Marines. They both refused, so Garp took on Koby as his student, and passed the future of the Marines over to him

Dragon deliberately did not want to drag his son into his war, so he let Luffy find his own path instead. Then Dragon found a protégé of his own in Sabo.

I suggest that Rocks and Teach will continue this trend. After all, Blackbeard is nothing like his dad, being a backstabbing coward with none of Rocks’ admirable traits. I cant imagine a scumbag like Teach truly inheriting the will of the guy that was fiercely loyal to his friend Harald until the very end, despite their differences. Even if they both have it out for Imu, Blackbeard just isn’t him.

So who actually will inherit Rocks’ dream? Just remember whose flashback this originally was, its no coincidence. The boy Rocks inspired and the son of his best friend, Loki will inherit the will of Davy Jones and do what Harald refused to by bringing Rocks’ goal to fruition.

Loki even fits Rocks’ mold of being a “bad” guy that’s actually not nearly as evil as he initially seemed, even their personalities are more aligned than Rocks and his actual son. And Loki was introduced announcing that we would destroy "The World", no? It all lines up.

Bonus Theory - The 13th Character in the 1121 Page

(Page in consideration is the page showing 12 important people who are "trying" to find one piece or are important in future of world)

(this theory is not that strong independently imo, hence I did not make a separate post. It partially goes into finding clues in numbers and some other patterns, which while Oda does do, they are not very conclusive as often it is posible to fit many things(for example, for a very long time, luffy had been related to 56, and only number left in straw hat was 29, which also turned out to be loofy only (in nika form)))

So this page from Chapter 1121 shows Buggy, Blackbeard, Luffy, Shanks, Sabo, Kuzan, Garling, Koby, Imu, Dragon, Shamrock, and Sakazuki. 12 characters. I think there is a 13th hidden character here. Let me explain.

So 13 is considered an unlucky number (Triskaidekaphobia). That’s why some elevators skip 13 and Friday the 13th is considered scary. We don’t know why but 2 of the most famous origins for this are Judas being the 13th to sit at the table at the Last Supper (the other 11 Apostles and Jesus, then Judas) and a Norse myth about 12 gods having a dinner party in Valhalla, with Loki being the 13 god to arrive despite being uninvited.

• First of all, Loki’s bounty is 2.6 billion. That’s double 1.3 billion, or 13. Oda probably wouldn’t want Loki’s 13 connection to be so blatantly obvious.

• Second of all, this page shows major players in the Final Saga: the 4 Emperors, the leader of the RA, leader of the WG, leader of the Marines, leader of the HK 2 second-in-command characters, and then Koby and Kuzan. At the time of this page, Loki had not been fully introduced. Shamrock had also not been introduced, but he appears as a silhouette. I think Loki is here because he is big enough to a major player in the Final Saga. His father was Harald, who fought Rocks D. Xebec (arguably evenly), he also killed Harald. Loki had to be defeated by Shanks, an Emperor of the Sea. It wouldn’t make sense for Loki to be a one-arc character in the Final Saga. This guy is strong.

• Third of all, he is what Luffy is to Shanks but for Rocks instead. Rocks D. Xebec is obviously a major player in the Final Saga, despite being dead. He seemingly lives on through Blackbeard, but I don’t think that’s the case. Blackbeard is a coward and a traitor. Rocks seems to have honor. Blackbeard killed WB, who took care of him and helped his father against Imu. Rocks, on the other hand, went to GV and fought Imu to save his wife and son. I think Loki is the successor to Rocks, not Blackbeard. If Blackbeard was Rocks’ successor, then Ace is Roger’s successor and not Shanks or Luffy. Loki is the new Rocks, not Blackbeard.

So in conclusion, I think Loki is the 13th major player in the Final Saga.

These are scans of a japanese copy. for those of us who do not read japanese, these are effectively picture books, but they convey most of the story, so here are some of the major plot points i can understand. If you know japanese, please help clear stuff.

My interpretation of pictures (very badly done)

cover page - not sure but it is possible it is start of new cover story starring perona (she wants to find mihawk). this could just be one of drawing request.

page 2 - all are just looking as imu has done "something" (as they all are seeing reversi for the first time)

3 - rocks has partially transformed (one eye is normal, bottom set of fangs have not formed, no wings). this is the first we see someone resisting the reversi. unclear as to why eris (wife) and bb are shown, maybe imu brought up again that rocks has to kill them.

4 - not sure but I have heard, that befor final transformation, imu makes rocks more angry by bringing up that harald was to stupid to win over (src: redon tweet). This fuels the theory that reversi requires anger or a strong negative emotion to happen. and rocks was the only strong one shown yet who could even resist it for some time

5 - rocks falls, big mom, kaida and wb look over him with concern

6 - rocks comes to senses, and some back and forth, and kaido and big mom charge onto him

7 - kaido and rocks clash. kaido is knocked out

8 - BM knocked out. WB has some exchange, and rocks charges towards WB.

9 - WB stops rocks' attack (rocks is using haki infused sword attack as usual, WB seemingly only used his fruit power and haki to stop, as WB's naginata is behind him. it is almost confirmed to be haki clash at minimum because of black lightning.). then we see the twin peaks of god valley, and a frame of a navy guy's eyes falling out

10 - one of the peaks falls down! (this is very likely a side effect of either WB's fruit, or rocks completely overpowered him). we see some pirates scrambling from the fall. eris and bb are shown again

11 - pirate and navy ships shown. CDs are scrambling and saying something. rayleigh and shakky are shown. there are atleast 2 dialogue boxes by narrator.

12 - dragon is shown almost broken (emotionally) (this is probably because according to him, he even lost the baby shanks)(he does not know that baby got into a chest, he was knocked out back then). ivankov is yelling at kuma (probably to ask him to think of their own safety too). Kuma hears someone from forest (this is eris and bb) (also rocks is approaching them, but these 2 things are not shown yet). we see capt. john injured holding his hand over his abdomen. next is a frame showing ganzui saying something, and (Seemingly) shiki is fleeing with a treasure chest (shiki's fruit is a levitation fruit, he can effectively float/fly)

13 - rocks reaches eris and bb. eris finds out rocks has been reversed (she has already seen reversal before, and know what is). she is scared, cries, says something, and starts running again. a frame of someone else (probably navy) firing cannon balls at eris/bb and rocks

14 - we are shown 3 frames of a close call of cannon balls hitting eris/bb and simultaneously one of rocks' swing is towards them. kuma pops up, teleports eris/bb (small note- we see 2 pops instead of one, so it is possible they landed different places. this is very young kuma with first day of his fruit, he does not have much control over it. this also explains a bit that we know that bb grew up as someone with no parents, and if we was tp'd with eris, that would not fit). then sees rocks attack and seemingly pops himself away. we see a big blast along that ledge of land (and my guess is cannons had little to do with it. rocks is terrifyingly powerful right now)

15 - we see imu and some "spoken at distance speech bubbles". there are 2 speech bubles by garp and roger (distance ones) overlayed at a port scene with some CDs shown. we see rocks attack more pirates

16 - we see big haki thunders. overlayed on twin peaks (now a mono peak i guess)(or you say one peak(ce)(get it? one piece)(i will see myself out)). rocks comes in front of garp and roger, and we see his winged form very clearly now.

17 - here is another leaked bit i have listened. the speech bubles are the "rays coming out of it ones" which are usually used for thoughts. this is very likely rocks' thoughts and both roger and garp are able to hear it. (roger is holding hands over his years probably because it is his first time) garp is just confused. leaks hint this to be "Voice of All Things" (VoAT) (we know that roger was able to hear VoAT because there was that bit of him hearing the sea kings. we also know that luffy is also kinda able to hear VoAT, but this is first of us for garp(more fuel to nepo piece i guess)). from prior leaks, we know what rocks is saying here - "kill me"!. we see rocks "crying". garp and roger are shocked. we see next frame as rocks charges towards them for attack. chapter over.

PS: this is my first time doing translation/description, and it is a very hard job ( and i have not even translated any speech bubbles). So i would like to retroactively thank all leakers and translators for their jobs.

This may be a "hot" one, considering lots of people do not like anything nuclear. If you would want to know my "bias", well I have always been "pro nuclear". So if you want to take this claim with huge mountains of salts, feel free to do so.

Here is a relevant wiki article for radiation hormesis. This is a proposed effect that certain amounts of radiation exposure may even be beneficial instead of harmful as LNT may suggest.

TL;DW for folks who do not want to watch video (I have not included examples or numbers)

• Radiation from natural sources (like radioactive bananas you eat, or from soil or space) are always present.

• Most nuclear safety guidelines consider that there are no "safe limits" of exposure to radiation. For example, there are safe limits of some metals in our body, there is no limit for mercury or lead exposure. There is a required amount of vitamins you need, but there is also a limit beyond which they are not safe. Radiation is treated like mercury in guidelines.

• If it has no safe limits, then due to natural exposure, places with higher background exposure must have naturally higher rates of cancers developing - but the thing is, experiments and data collected does not match.

• Your body has natural means to repair damage done by radiation, and below a certain limit, your body can withstand (and arguably benefit, see the linked article) the radiation.

• Over estimating danger due to radiation leads to large scale paranoia, and leads to general public be scared of nuclear disasters, when they are not as bad ast they may seem.

And pre-emptively answering some questions I am expecting to get

• Do you support nuclear bombs? Hell no. We should stop making all kinds of bombs, not just nuclear.

Are there not better means of renewable energy generation like

• solar? - no, you still need rare erath metals, you need good quality silicon, and you need a lot of area. Until we have a big "stability" bump in perovskite solar cells, it is not the best way. is it better than fossil fuel? everything is better than fossil fuel for practical purposes.

• wind? geothermal? - actually pretty good. but limited to certain geographies. if you can make them, they are often the best options.

• hydro? - dams? not so much. There are places where they kinda make sense, for example really high mountains with barely any wildlife or people. otherwise, they disturb the ecosystem a lot, and also not very resistant to things like earthquakes or flooding, and in those situations, they worsen the sitaution.
