Enough to meet the needs of me and my loved onea for the rest of our lives. I already can't fucking sleep in comfortable conditions
I think this is more of a western societal problem than a lemmy problem. Honestly if anything I have seen much less of this on lemmy as compared to similar internet spaces. I'd say its a big problem in that it is reflective of common thought in the west and the common thought of the west is problematic. As for what we can do about it... I suppose we do what we have always done. Vocal opposition might get you some downvotes but who tf cares.
My motivation. I'm not sure yet
I need mesoamerican mythology in a visual format.
Because the west, which has been heavily influenced by these cultures, controls most of the media you consume.
it could be any of the 3's. not too sure.
Variation in hair textures is normal and dependant in a fuckton of factors. Regardless, we share a curl pattern and what I have found has worked best for me, primarily due to the thickness of my hair and desire for androgeny, is fully shaving the sides and back of my head while letting the top grow to about shoulder length. It gives me the ability to put my hair up in a bun, ponytail, or clip and look more traditionally masculine while reserving the ability to put down my hair and look more traditionally feminine. This won't work if your hair is not thick enough however. It needs to be able to fully obscure the shaved bits when down. I started using this hairstyle because I wanted to grow mine out but it eventually became a huge hastle to wash, got really hot in the sun, and was really triangularly shaped due to hair thicknes.
Curl type isn't everything but it'd be really nice to have an idea of yours. Here is a chart
You should try reading actual political theory. You'll find that western politics isn't and has never been grounded in reality. It does not have a material basis and as such it gains support primarily through the people's emotions, especially fear and anger.
Here's some easy reading to get you started
- The Communist Manifesto[Text][Audio]
- Blackshirts and Reds[Text][Audio]
- The Principles of Communism[Text][Audio]
- Introduction to Political Economy[Text]
I don't expect to shove books like this in your face and actually have you immediately read all of them. You may not be at the part of your political developement where you have any motivation to do that. So here are some youtube channels that cover the material in them and apply that material to modern reality in a more easily digestable way. These are great resources that can teach you a lot but they are not and should not replace reading actual political theory. In my experience these helped develop my understanding of political economy to the point where I had sufficient motivation to read that theory.
None of these people get everything perfect all the time but they are generally good in my experience. Best of luck learning.
So remove the demand by instituting a properly managed state industry that provides the service in a sustainable way
Yeah but then we get told that's the wrong pro-environmental candidate and that we should pragmatic as we watch billionaires dig graves for us
Its so good and I've only just scratched the surface. Not even at the eclipse yet, not that I have any idea why that event is so significant lmao. My roommate got me into it and has been hyping it up.
