If they invented a powersource capable of generating enough energy for all human needs... I have a feeling it would be used to power datacenters instead.

And the right will use this media frenzy to further their anti-immigrant agendas.

What they did in the US is highlight criminals, then use that confusion and outrage to allow them to target all immigrants. So be really careful how you respond to what is being pushed to you about this. If your gut is telling you it doesn't sound right, or it doesn't align with your direct experience, be very careful you are not being used to condemn.

Maybe regardless of what happens in 3 years time, right now the entire system is corrupt and you think we're more likely to get justice now? Any testimony now would be useless. Maybe it will never be useful, but running the trial for Trump's friends while he is president will not result in justice being served.

It's healthy to have that core value imo. I'm happy enough to work around that vs the algorithms we have normalized.

Lol me too!! After I looked I wasn't too interested. Also crazy you mentioned Thor, that's the device I don't need that I can't stop thinking about.

BBC be like "Being blackmailed by a pedophile isn't a sign of wrongdoing"

And if they weren't a victim their faces wouldn't be hidden. Having your arms around a victim in your lap "isn't evidence of wrongdoing"?? Wow and just like that, "fact checking" is back in style.

There is no indication of wrongdoing from the files. The BBC has contacted Ratner's representative for comment.

Really? Why can't we see the faces of these "women" then? Isn't the point of blocking their faces to hide the identity of VICTIMS?

It depends what you consider wrongdoing. Is being in an exclusive social circle enough for you to not ask too many questions? At the very least they participated in something horrible. Everyone in the files should feel bad, and any innocent person in there should be busy testifying about everything they know. I don't see a lot of statements, mostly silence.
