No idea. But it wasn’t Taylor Swift who I commented on. It was years ago now and I don’t remember who, but it was before the eras tour. I’m not sure when Taylor started using “eras” though

The one time I got called a boomer online was because I didn’t understand why artists have “eras” now instead of just albums. I think at the time an artist removed all posts from their socials and the comments are “new era coming soon?” And I asked if that just means they’re dropping a new album

(I'm only halfway through episode 4 so I can't really say for sure)

We started off with tragedy and mystery so I think we need to let things breathe a bit and I'm sure the humor will come. Might be a bit flipped from previous campaigns where we start light because there were no big issues at the beginning so we can start with humor.

Thanks for the info, that’s good to know! And I’m surprised that 1 extra die changes the stats that much. Seems like there’s very few <10. Although I just noticed Thimble’s 3 STR 😅

[–] thisisdee@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Why are their stats so high at level 3?

Side note, I can only watch 10-15 minute chunks at a time and it’s been an interesting experience 😂

I think Matt Damon’s wife was a waitress or bartender? They met while she was working

No, but walkable places would probably have public transport access as well? If so I'd take the bus. I think I generally consider 15-20 minutes to be "walkable" if I need to go often (train/metro stations, grocery stores). For the occasional trips I'd consider 1 hour walk one way. Anything longer I would probably skip or find alternative ways to get there (including taxis/ride shares)

This comment was reported but I didn't remove it because I think it's quite mild, but this line is unnecessary:

Alrighty then, stay losing and simping for overpriced trash I guess.

Please refrain from personal attacks.

Rescuers found the man stuck inside the middle portion of the slide in a crouched position — both head and feet first.

How do you even get into that position…

Yeah the announcement is a bit confusing but I think they’re just referring to more Age of Umbra that will be Daggerheart. But the main C4 is D&D 5e 2024.

[–] thisisdee@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

Not quite yet but I’m only about 2 weeks away! My husband did say there’s a chance the baby will be familiar with CR voices since birth if I continue watching 😂

Wow this is AMBITIOUS to say the least. So excited, but unfortunately with life stuff I probably won't be able to watch much CR any time soon, but hopefully I can catch at least the beginning of it. Just to see the chaos and craziness.

Dangerous forces gather as members of Bells Hells deal with their dark bargains and deadly debts mounting to be collected.

Featuring the founding cast of Critical Role, Robbie Daymond, and led by Game Master Matthew Mercer; this show will be our very first one-shot set in the world of Exandria and powered by Darrington Press’s roleplaying game: Daggerheart.

Captured live from the Fishers Event Center in Indianapolis on August 2, 2025.

Exciting news—our Darrington Press team has grown, adding Chris Perkins as our Creative Director and Jeremy Crawford as Game Director! We’re thrilled to welcome both Chris and Jeremy’s expertise in game design and storytelling, honed through decades of experience working together on tabletop games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars Roleplaying, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and Blue Rose. We’re enormous fans of their work and are honored to welcome them into our team.

At Darrington Press, they’ll be developing novel game concepts as well as expanding upon the games we’ve released so far! Here are some words from our new team members:

“Storytelling has always been at the heart of everything I do, and joining Darrington Press feels a bit like coming home,” said Perkins, Creative Director of Darrington Press. “I’ve loved being a part of the extended Critical Role family as a regular guest over the years and I’m beyond excited to help create new worlds full of adventure.”

“I’ve always believed that great games invite everyone to the table, and that’s exactly what excites me about joining Darrington Press,” said Crawford, Game Director of Darrington Press. “This team is passionate, wildly creative, and committed to building welcoming, connected, amazing story-driven experiences—I can’t wait to expand on what Critical Role has already created to develop some really fun and unique games.”

Welcome, Chris and Jeremy!

Sorry for the boring, empty post. On my phone but wanted to get this up since I’ll be watching at least for the next couple hours

Hi all, just wondering if there’s anyone interested in becoming a mod here? It’s a very small community so it doesn’t require much. All I’ve done is basically create weekly discussion posts (which I’ve actually forgotten). It can probably be scheduled with an app but last time I did that it posted 3x every week and I haven’t made the effort to fix it.

I have personal things I need to take care of so I wouldn’t be able to be online as much in the next few weeks or months, so any help is appreciated!

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨

As the evolving fires in Los Angeles are directly impacting our cast and crew, we're taking a break from streaming this week with the intention of returning to Exandria next Thursday, January 16th.

In the meantime, the kindness of Critters like you has allowed us to make a donation of $30k to the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Recovery Fund through the Critical Role Foundation. Your generosity continues to help us fund emergency response efforts around the world and close to home, thank you!

While the situation evolves remember to take care of one another, reach out to those you can help, and stay kind out there. Light will always break through the darkness,

❤️ Critical Role

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a good New Years/break.

I've been using intuitive F2L but would like to be more efficient. I've watched a few example solves but I'm finding it hard to learn just by watching solves. So if anyone has a good F2L solutions/resource they're able to share, I'd really appreciate it!
