anybody else unable to get a fresh install of YouTube Music Revanced? (lemm.ee)
 

I tried four different versions from APK mirror, and all of them gave me different errors when I went to install them after patching them.

the one I have installed on my old Google Pixel 8 works just fine, but I can't get it installed on this Google Pixel 7

ordinarily, when I have a 16:9 video playing up top, it just fills the entire portion of the top split-screen. but as you can see here, it's decided to throw black bars all the way around it, making the video about half the size of what it should be. is there any way to fix this?

because I haven't been paying attention, and it still works for everything I need it to work for. is there a security issue with continuing to use it? and is there a good replacement (ie., a mobile browser that uses regular Chrome extensions)

yeah. I think Android 12 or 13? I kept sending them feedback for like 6 months and then just left it.

(when you hit the recents button) I can't believe they actually restored a feature that they'd removed by accident during an update this is wild. how long has it been back? how many years did it take them to accomplish this

are playlists gone? i can't find the add to playlist button, just watch list or whatever. in c/plex@lemmy.ml

no, this is all my own. it sounds like switching to jellyfin is just going to be easier. every update makes Plex worse

I'm really enjoying armodafinil (lemm.ee)
 

I've been taking modafinil off and on for the last 10 years now, usually with a prescription, sometimes without, and it's been very helpful. I get about 6 hours of good use out of it as far as ADHD symptoms and such, it'll keep me awake for about 8 hours.

armodafinil kicks in a little quicker, lasts longer (I can get a good 10 hours out of it, and it can keep me up for 12), and makes me sweat a lot less than either Provigil or ephedrine. I had been waiting for it to come off patent in the states, and it did over the last 2 years so now I can play with it.

I'm not going to sit here and talk about sources, but test your shit. something I got from an overseas vendor tested positive for methamphetamine once (might have been mdma, my test can't tell the difference but either way, test your shit}

has anybody tried both? I get a lot of benefit from 7oh & mitragynine, and just recently found an O-DSMT plug but the minimum purchase is a bit steep and I have to use crypto which I've never done before. I know I should learn how, but the process is being a pain

long pressing on the Bluetooth icon has always opened the Bluetooth menu. prior to Android 14, tapping on the Bluetooth icon would turn it on and off instead of opening the list of devices pop-up like it does now, which is annoying as shit, but that started with Android 14
