The Lord of the Rings is racist to the bone. Goblin Slayer is just a continuation of the same with less poetry.

Modern fantasy's racism came directly from Tolkien. It certainly wasn't from 14th century English fairytales that Tolnien was referencing.

This whole drama comes down to mostly cis people (outside of blahj) yelling at trans people for the imagined crimes of inauthentically being their gender. New place, same old transphobia.

Not just the US, but the majority of the Western world at least. Shouldn't we have a global remembrance ritual? Some kind of ceremony? A few monuments?

This handwavy back to business thing is so weird when you analyze it.

To give context from another capitalist hellhole that is propagandized in the West to be even a worse capitalist hell than the West to keep the population in line through fear:

Korea (lib) has bus stops with air conditioning, sun cover, wind cover, heated seating, usb charging port, wifi, and digitized bus arrival time with real time update through a screen.

I thought semiconductors were fungible, but I guess that's not the case here.

Which Chinese spy stole the protractor technology? We know that they can't develop original IPs so they must have stolen it.
Quick! Send some feds to harass Chinese researchers! They think they're clever but we know their secret - the spies have this app called "WeChat" on their phone.

War on drugs?

Isn't the semiconductor access issue overblown to make Taiwan appear more important anyways? To justify aggressive stances against China.

If Americans couldn't buy semiconductors from TSMC, they can just buy from Samsung right?

China's several timezones ahead, so they can stab us from the future. We can't see it coming. We need to develop our counter knife program immediately so that we can stab them from the past as a preemptive defense!
