I only have option 2, and would like option 1. But I can still open varying amounts, depending if it's extra windy or not. The slide bar had adjustable tension.

You might want to read a book

It's a smoker, with a port for a temp probe in the meat.

When you smoke something for 10-12 hours it's nice to get temp readings from wherever. It might also have automatic control for temperature management.

Came across this post today. https://bsky.app/profile/kojamf.bsky.social/post/3ltav35egbs2q

How would you classify this? I know it to be fake, but its created to make a point. But its good enough that someone could be fooled intl believing it was real, no?

There are rules for when sentencing occurs concurrently or consecutively. Additionally the prosecution should want the most charges possible, in the event that an appeal overturns (or orders a new trial on) only a few of the indicted charges.

Imagine a primary with AOC, Pete Buttegieg, and maybe a third younger candidate....

All could be really exciting to see advance, but they'll split the vote and open the way for some stupid fucking corpse to win.

I hate this system.

More specifically, you pay tax first to the country where the income was generated, and are usually tax liable to the country you are resident in.

Typically taxation treaties prevent double taxation, but the net result is you will usually get hit with the equivalent of the highest tax across jurisdictions.

I hear you, but this is subjective and not objective. A bad faith actor, presumably an authoritarian government, can exploit laws like this to advance their agenda. "Yes, I was definitely convinced that was George HW Bush".

Subjective judgements are ripe for abuse of power, sadly.

It's a slippery slope from something that is otherwise well intentioned.

Define what a deep fake is over a parody or other political commentary.

I'm with you in your frustration, but this only furthers a class of elites being eligible to govern. The test needs to be at a level that anyone going through compulsory education could pass. Eg 8th grade.

Additionally, I would do the test at candidate registration. There is no pass fail, but the electorate can decide if they're qualified enough (as it's the right of the electorate).

Maybe it doesn't fix it fully but we can directly point to who is a moron, and who voted for said morons.

I'll offer a near miss.

Chat amongst colleagues over a coffee, the topic was something very normal and mundane: how lazy are we about cooking.

My colleague Carol said, "sometimes I just throw some chicken nuggets in the toaster because I don't care or have the energy"

My response I intercepted between the brain and mouth: "living the bachelor lifestyle, carol?"

Carol's husband had died quite suddenly 6 months prior. I didn't fuck up, but I almost did and it haunts me still over a decade later.

If only he knew a competent lawyer.
