You can specify your Seedbox credentials on the download client and it will work.

And set up a remote path to link your torrent download directory to whatever directory you store in locally.

Haven’t tried it but i believe it should work something like that.

Thanks for the helpful answer. Yea compared to kbin browsing here has been great, way way less frustrating. Just looking forward to the day all this is ironed out and works perfect.

Thanks again for doing all this!

I decided to move from kbin to lemmy because of all the federation issues between the two, and even when stuff does federate to kbin, it's usually annoyingly lagged behind the actual post time.

Here I notice everything federates quickly but I still notice some posts just never federate at all. For example this post shows on the main instance as well as my alt account on dbzer0 but not here.

Not blaming this site in particular, just wondering if this is a widespread issue that is being worked on upstream? Or is this just one of the downsides of federated social networking?

Buddy I’m pretty sure people are getting jerked off at the movies, people probably relieved when the person next to them is just recoding with a camera.

Yea that’s right, you were doing old.lemmy before it was cool 😎

Prob one of few instances I'd still advise post to reddit, since there are people there who haven't moved over. While most the people here have already settled into a home instance.

I actually found my home instance bc a guy was advertising it on r/lemmy

Yep no magic to get movies early anymore, the people who upload them can get them when everyone else can.

Those pre-release DVD Screeners and early regional releases to compete with bootleg market are a thing of the past.

If the movie is not available on any physical media or online streaming sources yet, the best you'll find is what's known as a cam, which is the dude sitting in the theatre in a hoody recording like you see in the warning of what not to do before the movie starts.

A lot of trackers don't allow them because the quality is so bad, I see them a lot on TL tho. I think they even have some exclusive releasers.

Seems like you got some good answers here, but if you ever want to ask more or discuss further just wanted to add there is a tracker community here now,

!trackers@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Still getting it off the ground, but there is a tracker community starting here.

!trackers@lemmy.dbzer0.com

We've already had someone giveaway a whooping 1 TL invite 🤣

They deactivate accounts more liberally than other sites so that they can charge you $$$ to get back in, that's their scummy business strategy and why I don't use that place.

You got me looking at these since I've been thinking about upgrading from my raspi w/ 2 ssd raid. Think this is a good deal to accomplish that?
