Sometimes we see them launching on our morning dog walks

Known as The Grandis, it's not far from Bulahdelah. As you'd expect it is quite tall.

These sculptures are by Jeff Thompson, and were my favourite art piece at the museum.

The whole area is filled with amazing old buildings. To really appreciate them you need to spend time looking at all of the intricate and detailed work that has gone into them.

A surprisingly tall waterfall for the Canberra region, you can find it out near the Cotter if you're prepared for a little bit of bush bashing.

The National Arboretum is a nice spot with great views. A lot of the planting is quite young, it will change a lot in future years as the trees grow.

Feeding time at National Zoo and Aquarium in Canberra.

This is a really great zoo and I highly recommend a visit for anyone in the area. If you can afford it the overnight stay at Jamala lodge is absolutely amazing too.

A nice little spot I visited early in the morning when the light was perfect for photos. There are a few pieces of old machinery dotted around too.

These are photos I took a few years ago from the flying fox viewing platform at Bellbird Park in Kew. I really love the personality these little guys have.
